Tumo Mphothwe

Tumo is a Chartered Certified Accountant and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Botswana Chapter as well as the Institute of Certified Forensic Accountants. He Holds a Bachelor of Honours Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Derby. Tumo joined Baker Tilly in 2014 and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2018 after completing his articles with the firm. After qualifying, he worked at one of the big-four firms’ focusing on internal audit, risk and compliance assignments, prior to rejoining Baker Tilly in January 2023. Tumo’s decade worth of experience covers accounting, audit and assurance, internal audit, risk management and corporate governance, he has serviced clients in the following sectors: Life and Health Insurance, Manufacturing, financial services, NGOs, retirement funds and state owned entities
